Since it’s not as sunny this time of year I had to move most of my plants closer to the window but they seem to be happy again! 🙊🐍🕯✨

Today I Spoke With Sharesome.com

As many of you know (because you have been blowing me up with messages and Asks) I have been researching the best new platform for us all to join once this ship crashes and burns on the rocks. I have reached out to a lot of different sites, but the first one to get back to me was TamTam, the cofounder over at Sharesome.com By the way, they do have a blog, but of course Tumblr won’t let me tag them, so you can view my blog to see some of their stuff and follow them yourselves.

Through the course of our conversation, I asked them a LOT of questions, and they answered them all very well in my opinion, so I would like to share the information with you guys so that you can make your own decisions about it. First things first, Sharesome is NOT a major company like Tumblr. They are a staff of 20+ people who are all dedicated to the project. The site has been up and running since January of 2018, and I quote “It’s free and always will be free.“ They have been doing work on their own kind using a form of cryptocurrency called Flametokens, which can be used to tip content creators on the site.

Speaking of content creators, that was a big issue for me, with my own stories and my friends who sell custom content. The selling of custom content (pics, vids, ect.) are not only welcome, but also encouraged. Sharesome does offer their own creator program, where you can be verified as a creator, which will be very useful in establishing legitimacy. You can read more about the program here. Also, art, including Hentai, will be allowed, and of course, I had to ask about my stories! Erotic writing will of course be allowed, which is a big plus if you ask me. They will also be handling reporting on a case by case basis, meaning a real person will investigate your claims if you report someone for being a creep, which is more time consuming, but a nice personal touch that hopefully means things will be handled better. A big subject for me is the taboo kinks, rape play, incest, things like this. As long as the things you post are properly categorized, and everything is clearly defined as being in a fantasy setting, it will be allowed. This is of course a big deal, because there is a good chunk of the community who enjoys the darker side of things, and you will be welcomed as well, if the rules are followed! This ties in with the reporting system, because again, everything will be handled on a case by case basis, so if someone is offended because I write a rape fantasy story, then it will be reviewed, and if I did my part, then all will be well.

I have personally signed up for the site, my username is the same as Tumblr, KinkyFantasyLife. I have not played around with it much, but I have noticed some features that I personally enjoy. For one, there does not seem to be a character limit like on Twitter, and you have the option to post in specific “Topics”. These Topics are generated by other users and include things like “Amateur”, “Milf”, “Gangbang’, and many more. This will let you categorize your posts accordingly, which will then show it to the folks who want to see it. There is also a Sharesome Engagement Score, which is raised based on “likes, comments, and shares received.” This is another way to help show legitimacy and help put fans and potential customers at ease.

There are a lot of nifty features that I do like, but I also want to reiterate. This is still a small site, which is currently in beta. There is not currently an app, with no plans for one in the future, due to trouble with both Google Play and Apple’s App store not being very NSFW friendly. Instead, the team is working on putting together a fantastic mobile site which can be viewed through your phones browser. They don’t have hundreds of people working for them, and they are under a lot of stress and pressure right now, because according to TamTam, they have seen a major upswing in traffic since yesterday, and they are all hands-on deck at the moment, working to get new servers online to accommodate the heavy traffic. So, if you do check them out, expect some delays, expect some issues, and please remember that this won’t always be the case. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither will a new platform be. But overall, my personal opinion of the site is pretty positive so far! And I have not been paid for this by the way, this isn’t an advertisement, just my thoughts on what could be something new for everyone. So, help me get the word out, help out Sharesome, and let’s see if we can build something new, together.

Thank you for doing the research!! I’ll definitely be checking this out & making an account 😊😊 I’ll be trying a couple of different ones & seeing which works the best!

That makes it worth joining! Have you guys seen Frecklekitten??

I decided to make an account here too, and it seems relatively nice so far. I’m curious to see how exporting blogs is going to go though

If you think your art blog is going to be deleted:

You can save all your posts with these instructions
I’ll do it too just to be safe, I honestly don’t remember what I’ve posted here over the years.

You can also import a copy of your blog into wordpress. YMMV if you have a huge amount of posts.

Oh thanks!! This is also a good one!! In case the first doesn’t work or you don’t have the memory for a whole zip of your blog~

But yeah ya’ll should really go and yell at non-voters and the disenfranchised, amirite????

Results from the governor’s election in Georgia:

I mean………what is even left to say at this point.

Less that 5% of white women in Texas would’ve had to switch their votes for O'Rourke to win. In Georgia, assuming white women made up 30% of the vote, less than 3% of them. That’s all it would take to switch the seat of power in some elections.

Bless you for pointing this out.
